Get to know your local museum by getting an insight into what the museum staff are working on. On February 4th 2023 between 12:00-16:00 (12pm to 4pm) we will have an open house at Grenna Museum. That includes fun activities and free entry to the museum.

→ Follow along on a tour around the museum’s premises, both offices and the workshop as well as exhibitions! The tour around the museum’s premices will be given at two occasions, one will be held at 12.15 (12.15pm) and one will be held at 15.00 (3pm).
→ 12.00-14.00 (12pm-2pm): Get an insight into how genealogy works with Karl-Axel Skoglund from Grenna Village Association. Please, feel free to ask questions about older inhabitants from Grenna.
→ 12.00-14.00 (12pm-2pm): Hometown research, learn how to look in digital archives and the museum’s archives. Please, feel free to ask questions about older inhabitants from Grenna and old houses in Grenna.
→ 12.00-16.00 (12pm-4pm): Grenna Village Assiciation are having a quiz walk.
→ 12.30 & 14.30 (12.30pm-2.30pm): Film & Q&A in Polarcenter.
→ 13.00 (1pm): Andréebiografin, Håkan Jorikson talks about how he created the book. Lecture will be held in the PolarQuest-room.
→ 14.00 (2pm): In Amalia Erikson’s footsteps, city walk with Magdalena Karlsson.
→ 14.00-16.00 (2pm-4pm): What is this? We might be able to help you! Art and object assessment with the museum’s staff. Feel free to bring an object. NB! No price evaluation.
→ 15.00-16.00 (3pm-4pm): This is how we work with the museum objects: we collect, care for, categorize and register them. Magdalena Karlsson will be hosting.
